December 2025

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Χριστός γεννται, δοξάσατε!

Christ is born, Glorify Him!

As we gather once again to celebrate the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I greet you with the joy and peace that flow from the newborn Christ. Today the Church reminds us that God has entered our world not with pomp, force or spectacle, but with the quiet strength of perfect love. The eternal Word becomes a child, wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, so that every one of us may draw near to Him without fear.

Christmas teaches us that God does not wait for us to climb up to Him. He comes to us. He steps into our struggles, our uncertainties, our hopes, and our deepest wounds. The cave of Bethlehem becomes a sign that no place is too humble or too dark for His light to shine.

As we stand before the mystery of His birth, let us open our hearts in gratitude. Let us welcome Christ not only with words, but by letting His peace shape our decisions, our families, and the way we see one another. May the love we show in these days grow into habits that remain long after this holiday season ends.

I pray that the joy of the Nativity fills your homes, strengthens your faith, and renews your hope. May the Lord who is born for our salvation guide you into the New Year with patience, courage, and compassion.

Χριστός γεννται, δοξάσατε!

Christ is born, Glorify Him!

With love in Christ,

Fr Milan
